Below you’ll find a smattering of both internal- and external-facing resources that supported various clients’ marketing efforts.

Educational Community-Focused Brochures

for the Energy & Sustainability Division of Sonoma County

The Sonoma County Energy & Sustainability Division needed easily digestible brochures to inform diverse audiences about the resources they offer. These audiences included:

  • Public schools & educators
  • Public buildings
  • Multi-unit building owners

The ESD’s programs enable these groups to receive technical support and financial assistance with initiatives aimed at increasing energy efficiency and decreasing consumption. The challenge was enlisting these community stakeholders as partners.

After an initial discovery period defining the ESD’s brand identity, tone, and target demographics, I outlined the structure of these brochures and drafted copy to clearly address the challenges and propose the ESD’s solutions. From there, I coordinated with a graphic designer to formalize the layout and source imagery.

Once finalized these brochures were sent to hundreds of public schools, special districts, building managers, and property owners throughout the county.

Pitch Decks with Panache

As entrapeer’s copywriter and Head of Marketing, I helped the core team develop a range of marketing and sales resources, including the pitch deck displayed above. We knew we had to come up with a creative way to grab our prospect’s attention so we came up with a nerdy analogy:

If Mario represents the enterprise seeking to innovate, Princess Peach is his new business opportunity. All the enemies represent the obstacles on the traditional path of corporate innovation.

Vacation Rental Collateral

for a Boutique Winery & Rustic Retreat

Mesa Del Sol is a boutique winery and rental property located in the Arroyo Seco AVA of Monterey County.

When the new owners bought the property in the fall of 2021, they inherited wine buyers and retailer contracts. However, they wanted to ramp up the vacation rental side of their business.

Together we developed a raft of resources to enhance the experience of existing guests, gather social proof (in the form of Google reviews and guest-generated photos),  and promote the rental to new audiences.

These resources included:

Concise Copy for Consumer Packaged Goods

Kovi Kai Elixirs is an organic food company producing cold-pressed ginger and turmeric. Founder Kima McKiernan’s mission is to provide busy, health-conscious people with nourishing, all-natural elixirs to help them feel refreshed and revitalized in their everyday life.

When Kima revamped her packaging to be more biodegradable, she needed razor-sharp, concise copy to convert her message on the limited real estate of the new cardboard sleeve.

That’s where I came in.
